Walking near the water late Sunday afternoon I spotted this female Mallard. Usually, I wouldn’t consider the female Mallard to be so beautiful, but the light against the afternoon sun created beautiful purple and pink colors against the patterns of the blue tones in the water, thus I couldn’t resist doing this painting.

This is a reposting of an earlier painting. As winter winds down we will soon see signs of spring. These cool colors will change to warm tones but this one will remind us of the cold winters here in the northern states.

This was a composition of images from small town America. The idea was to create something like a time machine to walk back into space and time into a place that existed or exists but we can only go there in our mind or in another dimension of reality.

This is the second of the two works in the diptych above. Many years ago I discovered that many of my highly designed works when placed side by side can work together and become a whole work. Many creative ideas can only be understood by experiencing something similar in real life. I think this work is a bit like that. Some of it can be understood by experiencing it in pieces or parts but an additional idea is understood when two parts come together. Each of the works could be purchased separately but I can only post it here now as one work, so you would need to contact me directly for a single work.
